SK케미칼은 본격적인 리사이클 플라스틱 순환생태계를 선보였다. SK케미칼은 2030년 리사이클 제품 판매 비중 100% 달성을 위해 국내 최초로 생산자·파트너·브랜드를 온라인으로 잇는 재활용 플라스틱 순환생태계 비즈니스플랫폼 ‘이음’을 구축했다고 밝혔다.
김씨는 "교육지원청으로 문의를 했는데 국장님이 출장 때문에 사무실에 없어 (결재를 못해) 공고를 하지 못했다는 말을 듣고 어이가 없었다"며 "출장을 가기 전에 충분히 결재를 할 수 있었던 것 아니냐. 학생과 학부모의 입장은 전혀 고려하지 않는 것 같다"고 토로했다.

우리나라 화장품 수출실적이 사상 첫 10조원을 돌파했다. 식약처에 따르면 화장품 산업은 세계 경제 불황과 코로나19로 인한 어려움 속에서도 꾸준히 성장해 2021년 수출실적이 지난해 대비 21.3% 상승한 10조5099억 원으로 역대 최고를 달성했다. 2020년에 이어 세계 3위 규모다. 2021년 화장품 무역수지는 전년대비 28.6% 증가해 최초로 9조원을 돌파하면서 10년 연속 흑자를 달성했다. 생산실적은 16조6533억원, 수입실적은 1조 4,937억원으로 전년 대비 각각 9.8%, 11.7% 증가했다. 화장품(92억 달러) 수출액 규모가 가전(86억 달러), 의약품(84억 달러), 휴대폰(49억 달러) 보다 큰 것으로 집계됐다. 식약처는 2021년 화장품 시장의 특징에 대해 ▲역대 최고 수출실적 달성 ▲무역수지 흑자 9조원 돌파 ▲코로나19 이전 생산실적 회복 ▲제조·판매업체 수 지속 증가 등을 꼽았다.

지난해에 이어 가치 소비가 부상하면서 ‘비건·클린 뷰티’ 열풍은 올해도 계속되었다. ㈜링커버스는 네일진단기기 ‘헬시버스(HealthyVerse)’, 아람휴비스㈜는 인공지능 두피·피부 진단기 ‘인공지능 스캘프그레이더(AI-ScalpGrader)’, ㈜에프앤디파트너스는 피부영상 획득기기 ‘메디스코프(MediScope)’, ㈜초위스컴퍼니는 스마트폰 연결 피부진단기기 ‘mySkin F.A.I.N.’을 각각 전시하여 호평을 이끌어냈다.
이런 노력 끝에 국내 유일의 지역 인증 브랜드인 제주화장품인증제도는 2018년 '대한민국브랜드대상'에서 우수상을 받기도 했다.
코로나로 인해 침체됐던 메이크업 시장이 엔데믹 일상 회복 기조에 활기를 되찾았다. 메이크업 제품은 최근 2년간 코로나19와 마스크 착용으로 인해 시장이 침체되었으나 거리 두기 해제 효과가 나타나면서 수요가 증가했다. CJ올리브영은 거리 두기가 전면 해제된 지난 4월 18일부터 5월 10일까지 매출을 분석한 결과, 색조화장품 매출이 전년 대비 56% 증가했다고 밝혔다. 사적 모임 인원과 영업 시간 제한이 풀리고 유동 인구가 급증하면서, 같은 기간 오프라인 매장 매출도 28% 늘었다. 색조화장품 중에서도 특히 선명한 발색과 부드러운 발림이 강점인 ‘립틴트’의 판매 호조가 뚜렷했다.

제주테크노파크와 한국전자통신연구원은 2021년부터 10개 기업을 선발하여 맞춤형 화장품 분야 데이터셋 구축, 시제품 제작, 장비 활용 등을 지원했고, 이 가운데 5개 기업이 빅데이터와 인공지능을 접목한 다양한 뷰티테크 제품들을 CES 2023에 출품해 4곳이 수상하는 성과를 거뒀다.
제주 맞춤형 화장품 플랫폼 구축에 참여하는 기업들이 내년 1월 ‘CES 혁신상’을 수상한다.
2016년부터 지난해 말까지 198억5천만원의 매출액을 달성해 연평균 33억원을 기록하고 있다.
△코로나19 여파에도 화장품 수출 10조 돌파
제주특별자치도가 주도하고 있는 빅데이터 기반 맞춤형 화장품 플랫폼 구축사업은 산업통상자원부 공모사업에 선정되어 데이터를 활용하여 맞춤형 화장품 기반을 조성하고 K-뷰티산업을 선도하는 것을 목적으로 추진되고 있다.
‘올인원 골프 패키지’는 엘리시안 제주CC와 공동으로 기획한 상품으로, 올해 갓 오픈한 5성급 호텔에서 4인이 편안하게 이용할 수 있는 럭셔리한 객실, 36홀 골프 라운딩, 파르나스 호텔 제주의 ‘콘페티’ 조식 뷔페, 그리고 라운지 바 ‘폰드메르’에서 품격 있는 애프터 파티를 즐길 수 있는 ‘글렌리벳 12년’ 위스키 보틀과 안주 서비스까지 글자 그대로 프리미엄 골프 여행을 위한 모든 것을 포함하고 있다.
이번 패키지는 2023년 4월부터 10월까지 6박 8일 일정으로 매주 3회(월, 화, 토) 루프트한자 독일항공 비즈니스 클래스(회당 16석)를 이용해 인천공항에서 취리히공항으로 이동한다.

제주테크노파크는 이번 우수사례 성과를 바탕으로 제주도와 협력하여 맞춤형 화장품 ICT융복합 실증센터 구축운영, 제주지역 맞춤형 화장품 온·오프라인 플랫폼을 시범운영, 맞춤형 스킨케어 기술개발 및 기업지원 체계 확립 등을 통해 제주화장품 산업의 디지털 전환과 경쟁력 확보를 가속화해 나갈 계획이다.
김병호 제주테크노파크 바이오융합센터장은 “이번 CES 혁신상 수상을 통해 제주가 주도하는 빅데이터 기반 맞춤형 화장품 기술과 K-뷰티산업의 발전가능성이 확인된 만큼 제주에서 맞춤형 화장품산업 발전과 글로벌 강소기업이 더 많이 배출되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
그리고 조제관리사들이 손쉽게 활용 가능하도록 피부진단 솔루션, 맞춤형 원료 및 처방, 피부진단DB 등 데이터 분양, 보유 장비지원 등 맞춤형화장품 전주기에 걸쳐 기술지원이 가능한 서비스 플랫폼인 스킨큐레이터 사이트에 대해서 소개했다. lotus김병호 제주테크노파크 바이오융합센터장은 “개인 조제관리사 및 중소기업들이 인력, 자금 부족으로 맞춤형화장품 제품 개발 및 시장진입에 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황으로, 이번 맞춤형화장품 워크숍 개최를 시작으로 조제관리사 중심의 시장 확대 방안을 모색하고 계속하여 맞춤형 화장품산업 발전과 글로벌 강소기업이 더 많이 배출되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이날 워크숍 행사 이후 제주테크노파크와 조제관리사협회 간의 업무협약식도 진행했다. 양 기관은 맞춤형화장품 시장확대 및 활성화를 위한 맞춤형화장품 및 조제관리사 관련 공동 사업 발굴•유치, 운영을 지원하기로 합의했다. 또 업무협약 주요 내용으로 맞춤형화장품 플랫폼 운영, 조제관리사 교육 등 양 기관 및 단체가 추진하는 관련 사업에 협조 및 지원하는 내용이 담겼다.
